What do you do at Cottam?
My role as Sales & Customer Service Co-ordinator is to provide first class service to existing and prospective clients, ensuring that their needs are met and, where possible, exceeded.
My main focus is to be the first point of contact for anyone coming to the business whether by telephone/email/fax or in person. My main job role is to process purchase orders from existing customers and in the unlikely event of a problem to ensure that it is dealt with in a swift and prompt manner so our customers are affected as little as possible.
What are you most proud of?
My proudest achievement to date was completing my Customer Service NVQ Level 3 in October 2013. Having worked very hard on this for over a year, whilst carrying out the day to day job role, I was very pleased to finally receiving my certificates - proving that all the hard work had been worth it!
Outside of work I am proud to have a supportive and thoughtful fiance and a group of very close friends.
Who or what inspires you?
I am inspired by people who have succeeded in the face of adversity such as Stephen Hawking. He has faced many hurdles in his life and has become a successful and well known individual for the work he has done for science and not because of his disability.
What do you do when you’re not working?Outside of work you will often find me enjoying dinner at local restaurants with my fiance and close friends! Other than that I am currently planning for the future with my partner.
What is your favourite Cottam product and why?
I don't have any one particular product; however the vast choice of new products available makes it an exciting time to be part of the sales team!
