Objectives
• Move from old site (consisting of 7 buildings!) to modern factory unit
• Improve productivity, communications and working environment
Solution
• New site located at Hebburn, South Tyneside
• Building was new and unused - just an empty shell
• Building conversion required to prepare for our needs. Desco appointed to design Mechanical and Electrical services. Kendall Cross appointed to carry our conversion.
• £1m, 12 week building program completed on time to allow relocation project to commence
• All manufacturing equipment, raw materials, finished goods and office equipment moved over weekend of 19th October
• Manufacture started up again 22nd October
Outcome
• Relocation complete on time and on budget. New start for Cottam Brush! |
